Callum joins the Daily newsroom

I AM Callum Fisher, I am 15 years old and I am attending The School Of Total Education, in Year 10.

I have been in Warwick for eight years.

I was born in Brisbane and lived in three other towns before moving to Warwick.

This week at SOTE is work experience.

Some of my classmates have gone out of town to do their work experience, but I chose to stay in Warwick and go to the Warwick Daily News.

Within my first hour of coming here I have already experienced things for the first time in my life.

I was able to go to a court and witness a court case.

Before arriving I was really nervous about coming to the Warwick Daily News and I thought that everybody might be really mean but now I have realised that what I thought is not true.

Everyone I have met is really nice and welcoming.

During my week at the Warwick Daily News I think that I will get to see some amazing things with the reporters and will also see some great articles being written.

I have not yet decided what I want to do when I finish school but I am strongly considering doing law.

If I choose not to do law I would either become a cameraman or a journalist.
