Can Warwick beat the in-form Stanthorpe?

STANTHORPE has two wins from two games, Warwick has none from one and both need a win to further their finals chances in the Mitchell Shield this season.

The local derby between the Southern Downs teams will be in Warwick on Sunday and the game will double as the match to determine the winner of the Bourke Hendry Trophy.

There will be a social game between the Warwick Davis Shield side and a young Stanthorpe combination.

Slade Park is set to be used for the first time this weekend after upgrading work and is likely to be used for the Davis Shield game.

The Mitchell Shield game is likely to be at Mayhew Oval but a decision on grounds will be made closer to the weekend.
