Can you help find this car stolen from Allora overnight?

RESIDENTS were asleep when their home was broken into last night by a thief who swiped their PlayStation and then their car.

It was one of two thefts at Allora overnight and police are appealing for information from the public to help find those responsible.

The first theft occurred about 1.05am when an offender allegedly entered an unlocked Nissan Maxima sedan in Arnold St and stole a toolbox.

Police believe the same person, or group of people, then broke into a Darling St home while the occupants were asleep.

Warwick Sergeant Ryan Harmer said the alleged offender stole a PlayStation and a 2012 Silver Holden VE Commodore with registration 455 SXM.

"It is a sneak break where they come in, steal the keys and then steal the car," Sgt Harmer said.

Police believe the two unlawful entries are connected.

"They have both occurred in the same period of time overnight and the time frames are overlapping," Sgt Harmer said.

If you have any information that could help the investigation phone Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
