CAN YOU HELP?: Police believe stolen bike still in Warwick

POLICE are appealing for members of the public to come forward with information as to the whereabouts of a stolen motorbike that is believed to be in the Warwick area.

The orange KTM 250 was taken from an unlocked shed on Myall Ave in Warwick overnight on August 6.

Detective Sergeant Darren Tamblyn said the motorbike was likely to be somewhere in Warwick.

"We believe it is in town or being shipped around to a few houses in town,” Sgt Tamblyn said.

"We believe a number of people in Warwick actually know where that bike is.”

Police are urging people to lock away all valuables to make it difficult for thieves to steal items.

"Cars are still being left unlocked and vehicles with property left unsecured on roadways and visible to the roadway,” Sgt Tamblyn said.
