Man taken to hospital after car strikes motorbike
UPDATE 11am: A 61-year-old man has been taken to Ipswich Hospital after a car struck a motorbike on the Cunningham Highway this morning.
A spokesman from Queensland Ambulance Services said the man was alert but suffering knee and shoulder pain when he was transported about 10am.
Paramedics were called to the scene at Cunninghams Gap about 9.17am.
The spokesman said the man was believed to have been riding the motorbike when it was struck by a car.
No one else required transport to hospital as a result of the crash.
INITIAL 9.55am: Paramedics are responding to a call out at Cunninghams Gap where a car has reportedly crashed into a motorbike.
The ambulance crew were called to the scene on the Cunningham Highway about 9.17am.
A man involved in the crash is reportedly complaining of hip pain.
