Caravan and car collide on major Downs road

UPDATE 5.10pm: Occupants of a car and caravan that collided this afternoon have escaped injury.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Services said two people were assessed on the scene on Stanthorpe-Texas Rd but no injuries were reported.

Neither patient required transport to hospital.

The gender and age of the patients was unknown.

Emergency service crews were called to the scene on the Darling Downs about 20km east of Texas about 4.21pm.

UPDATE 4.50pm: Paramedics are assessing two patients at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Stanthorpe-Texas Rd.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Services said it was unknown whether the people had sustained any injuries when a car and caravan collided.

One of the vehicles has reportedly rolled over and is upside down in a table drain.

The gender and age of the patients was also unknown.
