Cattle truck rolls at Dalveen

A TRUCK driver and his female passenger have been taken to Stanthorpe Hospital after a cattle truck rolled on the New England Hwy this afternoon.

The extent of their injuries is unknown at this stage but they are not believed to be life-threatening.

The double-deck truck rolled on Turner's Creek Rd, near Dalveen, just after 1pm.

It is understood it was heading north towards Warwick at the time of the crash.

Four cattle have been killed and it is believed more will have to be put down due to injuries.
