Caution for boy after tree cut down in district park

A 12-year-old boy at Allora has been cautioned for wilful damage after cutting a tree down in an Allora park.

Senior Constable Matt Shield, of Allora police, said police caught the boy in the act.

"He was given a caution at the weekend for wilful damage,” Sen Const Shield said.

The tree, six to eight metres high, was cut with a tomahawk.”
