Rose City Shoppingworld works impact CBD traffic

WARWICK residents are reminded works to the Rose City Shoppingworld have altered traffic conditions in the CBD.

A section of Fitzroy St will be closed for about three months so work on the multi-million dollar project can move forward.

The $40 million expansion includes the construction of 160 new car parking spaces with a new basement entry off Fitzroy St, 20 extra specialty shops, an enhanced food court with seating provided for up to 250 and a new parents room and amenities.

Demolition work is now under way at the former BI-LO supermarket to make way for basement excavation and this stage has already been completed at the former Magnolia Arcade and Golders premises on Palmerin St.

Rose City Shoppingworld centre management has relocated to Palmerin St.

Information to customers on the redevelopment will be available in the centre or by contacting centre management on 4667 0142.
