Chantelle gives catwalk another go
CHANTELLE Cameron came in third in last year's Miss Country Girl Australia Warwick-region competition, and this year she will take to the catwalk to try to better it.
With experience now on her side, the 15-year-old Assumption student (pictured) said she was enjoying modelling more than ever.
"I used to get really nervous but now that I really enjoy it, I just get out there and have fun," she said.
"I have had more modelling experience, how to walk and posing."
On her favourite part of the job, Chantelle said it was hard to decide.
"I love doing the photo shoot and I love the catwalk," she said.
"It's really fun and enjoyable for me and it's something I really want to carry on."
While she is keen to take out first place and win a spot in the finals in Sydney, Chantelle loves living in Warwick.
"I can still do the little things such as horse riding and motorbike riding but also go shopping," she said.
Miss Country Girl Australia is a national search focusing on regional areas to give contestants the opportunity to transform themselves from a country town girl to a superstar.
