Charges laid after graffiti classified as child exploitation

A 62-YEAR-old man has been charged with making child exploitation material after graffiti was located in public toilets throughout the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Detectives from the Caloundra Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged the Peachester man with more than 40 offences.

It will be alleged the graffiti, classed as child exploitation material, was located in public toilets at Beerwah and Landsborough between December last year and October 12 this year.

A man has been charged with 40 counts of making child exploitation material and one count of wilful damage by graffiti, involving indecent representations.

He is due to appear in the Caloundra Magistrates Court on November 7.
