Chicks With Sticks and Warriors win super league
HOCKEY: Chicks With Sticks scored a 1-0 victory against She Devils to win the Condamine Sports Club Super League premiership in Warwick hockey.
During the three-round season, Chicks With Sticks had two wins and a draw.
Samantha McMahon was the scorer for the winners in the round 3 game on Friday. Donna Carey was strong in goal for She Devils.
In the men's game, Warriors and River Hawks scored a 4-all draw.
Matthew Hagenback was one of the best for Warriors while captain Adam Byrne led by example for River Hawks.
With two wins and a draw, Warriors won the Condamine Sports Club Super League trophy for 2016.
It was the second successive premiership wins for Chicks With Sticks and Warriors but the teams were significantly different to last year.
