Chinchilla horsewoman makes it two
CHINCHILLA horsewoman Jackie Knudsen has won her second Black Toyota Canning Downs Campdraft in a decade at the Warwick Showgrounds.
She won in 2009 on Cab Sav and rode Barister to victory on Saturday in the final.
Knudsen won from three competitors in equad second, Injune rider Jody Crozier riding Concession, Jess Hoffmann from Charters Towers on Houston and Troy Palmer from Coolah (NSW) on Impressive Destiny.
After her win, Knudsen thanked her family and many supporters stating it was a team effort.
She also thanked her farriers, including Mark Knox who is a national finalist in roping this week in Warwick.
Earlier in the day, Kingaroy rider Mark Buttsworth won for the third time in a Warwick campdraft with 180 on One Stylish Pepto in the Frasers Livestock Transport Stallion Campdraft.
He won from three riders in equal second, Taroom rider Adrian Lamb riding on Coster, Palmer on Who's Top Cat and Joe Payne on Cole Black.
The final of the Pryde's EasiFeed Warwick Gold Cup is at noon with round 4 of the Warwick Rodeo APRA Nationals Finals at 2pm.
