Chloe Schultz steps up for Junior Cowgirl Quest

FRESH from her first season of polocrosse, 13-year-old junior cowgirl quest entrant Chloe Schultz certainly loves her animals.

Chloe has been attending the Warwick rodeo "since she was in prams", and loves the adrenaline-pumping rides the most.

"My aunty was a rodeo queen and that made me want to have a go at junior cowgirl," she said.

Chloe has been fundraising through selling chocolates and raffle tickets.

She loves horse riding for the thrill and the feeling of working well with horses.

It was her first time playing polocrosse this year and she thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.

"Polocrosse was harder than I thought," she said.

"It looked easy, but it wasn't."

Chloe gets the chance to ride a couple of times a week on the Warwick property she shares with her mum, stepfather, sister and brother.

They also have horses, cats, dogs and cattle.

Chloe is undecided what she wants to be when she is older, but she would like to work with animals however it could be a vet.

Life in the country certainly beats the city lights, according to this junior cowgirl entrant.

"There are more things to do out here," she said.

"You can go out exploring."
