41 sleeps until Christmas

THERE are just 41 sleeps until the jolly fat man comes down chimneys across the Rose City and many kids already have their wish lists sorted.

Four-year-old Bau Boston is one of the kids hoping an awesome new remote control car is waiting for him on Christmas morning.

Classic toys Lego and Transformers had been morphed into a popular new toy called Kreo and Toyworld owner Peter Tansky said the toys had been flying off the shelves.

"We are also selling a lot of the traditional toys, like wooden hobby horses, cots and clothes lines," he said.

Girls seem to have their hearts set on the new Inkoos toys, which allow them to draw all over their toy, wash it clean and start all over again.

Farm machinery replicas are always a popular choice with Warwick kids and Mr Tansky said there was a big demand for these and other toys that keep kids moving.
