Christmas Race Day schedule brought forward as heat worsens

THE WARWICK Turf Club is advising all racegoers attending tomorrow's Christmas Party Race Day that the day's schedule has been brought forward due to extreme heat forecast to affect the region.

The gates will now open at 10 am, not 11am with the first races to commence 10.46am instead on 1.18pm.

Racing Queensland had originally given the race day program the go ahead, but has now brought things forward due to the extreme heat.

The last race will be run at 2.30pm.
