Close battles for age championships at Warwick West
ATHLETICS: The odds are there will be some close battles for age championships in the years to come at Warwick West State School.
The only ties in the battle for age championships and runner-up awards this year were in the nine years age group, the first year championships are awarded.
The students were strong in voice when they chanted their war cries on a cold winter day at Warwick West on the second and final day of the carnival this week.
Some Warwick West State School students will now compete at the Southern Downs trials for the chance to make it to the regional trials in Toowoomba.
