Naked Miranda Kerr cover too much for Coles shoppers

MIRANDA Kerr's nude appearance on the cover of Harper's Bazaar will no longer be sold in Coles, after the supermarket giant confirmed it felt the au naturale photograph was "inappropriate".

In the image, Kerr is standing, leaning back on an ornate steel balcony, her breasts covered by her arm.

The side view of the supermodel means the image prominently shows the line of her thigh.

Coles told media today it would be taken off the magazine racks because there had been "feedback from customers" who shop with their children.

Harper's Bazaar's editor-in-chief Kellie Hush told the SMH she was disappointed to the see the cover be removed from show, because it was a "beautiful artistic image taken by one of Australia's best photographers Stephen Chee".

"The human body is not obscene," she said.
