Wolves Colts score deserved win against Ballandean
THE Warwick Wolves Colts played a great game to beat Ballandean 3-2 in colts' football on Saturday at Queens Park.
The game started off very strong by both sides.
Warwick was lucky with a deflection coming off striker Jayden Webb, setting Simeon Burrill in the clear to knock in the side's first goal in the 20th minute.
This really boosted the side in the remaining minutes of the first half.
Warwick went in to the half-time break holding a 3-1 lead after Josh Jordan was lucky to score from the penalty spot, taking a deflection from a Ballandean defender.
The boys started the second half strongly but were unlucky when Ballandean scored their second goal early in the half.
Andrew Ryan really stepped up as a goal keeper from that point on "he wasn't going to let another goal through," team-mate Matty O'Brien said.
"It was a well-deserved win after 100 per cent commitment from the Warwick boys."
