Competition front runners head down valley again in AFLDD

AUSSIE RULES: The Warwick Redbacks head to Lockyer Valley for the second week running to play at Cahill Park at 1.30pm Saturday.

Warwick has only lost one game this season and coach Peter Millard is determined to win the division 2 premiership.

The competition was divided into two divisions this season and the Redbacks club is committed to rebuild in 2017 with a view to playing division 1 in 2018. Kris Millard and Josh Read each kicked four goals last week.

The women from Warwick and Lockyer Valley have a bye this weekend while the combined juniors from the two clubs will play at the USQ ground in Toowoomba on Saturday.

The next home games for all Redbacks teams will be on July 22 at Warwick Credit Union Oval. The Redbacks men will play Dalby Swans on that day in what could be one of the matches of the season.
