Competition gives coolest of prizes

ESTHER Osborne was already enjoying the Warwick Show when it suddenly got even better.

Mrs Osborne was the winner of the joint promotion by the Warwick Daily News and Alpine Refrigeration and Airconditioning for a prize of goods worth up to $11,000 from Alpine. She chose an air-conditioning unit that will be installed free of charge. Alpine Refrigeration and Airconditioning general manager Barry Dever said the company was thrilled to help Mrs Osborne.

"We've only been in Warwick for about six months so it was good for our brand awareness," Mr Dever said.

"For someone to benefit from that is good.

"It's good to be giving back to the community."

Mrs Osborne said it was perfect timing to win.

"We're actually in the process of renovating our house," she said. "We're very grateful to Alpine and the Warwick Daily News."
