Concert to benefit local storm victims

SUPPORT for those affected by the super storm that hit Pratten and Bony Mountain in June is continuing, with a charity concert taking place this Saturday.

Performers David Lang and DJ Vince will bring their Elvis and Neil Diamond tribute show to the Warwick RSL in aid of the victims.

A secret guest performer will also open the family-friendly show.

Mr Lang said he and DJ Vince - who resides part time in Warwick - felt privileged to offer a helping hand to the small communities.

"The reason behind everyone wanting to do this is we are not young people - we have all been in the industry for a long time - and this is our way to give back to the community," he said.

"We have 12 people involved in the show and when it was suggested we do the show, everyone put their hand up and said "I'm in'."

Tickets for the show are $20 and can be purchased at the Warwick RSL.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.15pm start. All money raised on the evening will go to the storm victims.
