Cutters to take on Tenterfield

A REVITALISED Killarney Cutters outfit will take on Tenterfield at home today in a bid to get their 2010 Border Rugby League season going.

President John Towells said after two weeks break the Cutters were looking good for today's match at 2.30pm at Charlie

Andrews Oval in Killarney.

“We've been getting good numbers to training in the past two weeks; players are showing a bit more commitment now and hopefully we can move forward,” he said.

“We're looking good. We're pretty hopeful we'll have a good squad together this weekend after a bit of a revamped meeting last week.

“We had the bye on the weekend so are coming off two weekends off. A few nagging injuries have been recovered.”

The Cutters will welcome back forward Steve Ackland, and Towells expects Aaron and Michael Bowman and Shane Frier to step up.

The bar and canteen will be operating. Kick-off is at 2.30pm, entry is $4.
