Cops lockdown Brisbane suburb after man shot in the face

A MAN has been shot in the face, south of Brisbane.

Police shut down part of the suburb, declaring an emergency situation after they were called to Norton Street, Upper Mount Gravatt at 2.10pm on Thursday after reports a man had been wounded by a bullet.

It appears the man was shot in the mouth.
