Council’s page will tell you what’s on

KEEP an eye out in the Daily News every Thursday for a full page of news and information from the Southern Downs Regional Council.

As the region's pre-eminent media company, we are pleased to be able to form a partnership with the council which enables them to get their message out to our geographically wide and diverse readership region.

The council's page will appear in the Daily News every Thursday - starting from tomorrow - and will be packed with the latest information on council initiatives, projects and services.

Daily News general manager Bruce Partridge said he was delighted the Southern Downs Regional Council had recognised the Daily News as the foremost outlet in the region to spread the word about what the council is doing for our community.

"We know our readers and the many ratepayers across the Southern Downs and Granite Belt regions are vitally interested in what council is up to," Mr Partridge said.

"We also know we are well positioned to deliver this information, with the Daily News read by 13,000 people every day across our council's region."
