Countdown to birth: 11, 10, 9
RACHEL and Gavin Leslie won't have any trouble remembering the birthday of their newest addition.
Born early Sunday morning, the beautiful Adele Charlotte Leslie timed her arrival to perfection - with her birthdate October 9, or 09/10/11.
Mrs Leslie was due to give birth on October 8, but their daughter had other plans.
"When we got the original date in January, we had talked about how cool it would be if she came a day late," she said.
"Then we had false starts for the past four weeks so we thought she could have been early."
Adele was delivered by Dr Lynton Hudson at the Warwick Hospital and Mrs Leslie said she had been warmly welcomed by her two older sisters, Imogen and Stella.
"When they first walked in to meet her their eyes were as big as saucers," she said.
While not as well thought out as their newest sister, their birth dates are fairly recognisable too - Imogen was born June 16, 2006 (16/06/06) and Stella arrived March 30, 2009 (30/03/09).
The two School of Total Education teachers said Adele had rounded off the family perfectly, and they were not planning on timing more arrivals.
