Country crooner to woo shoppers
TWO huge, albeit very different, special guests are set to strut their stuff in Rose City Shoppingworld next month.
Country music superstar Troy Cassar-Daley will spend an afternoon serenading shoppers with a few tracks from his latest album, Home.
Cassar-Daley will take centre stage at noon on April 19, which will coincide with the Polocrosse Nationals.
Marketing manager Stevie McGregor said the event would be the first of its kind since she had been in the role but hopefully not the last.
"We are really excited to have him performing here and we hope it will be the start of more performances like this to come," she said.
Not one to be outdone by a celebrity appearance, the Easter Bunny will greet his own adoring fans next week.
"The Easter Bunny will be here from 10am to noon Monday to Saturday and will hand out chocolates and cuddles," Mrs McGregor said.
"Starting next Monday and running for two weeks, we are having Easter activities out the front of BiLo.
"Children can sit and do activities and we are running a colouring in competition where they have the chance to win one of six family passes to Darling Downs Zoo."
