Music support for safe haven

THE Warwick and District Country Music Club has done it again, donating to yet another Rose City charity.

Club secretary Ev Eastwell said they tried to donate to many charities, including the most recent - Warwick Safe Haven.

"We want to give back to the community," she said.

Warwick Safe Haven committee member Bette Bonney expressed her appreciation to the club for its support.

Safe Haven provides short-term emergency accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence.

Mrs Bonney said Safe Haven was community funded and invited businesses to make an annual donation.

Safe Haven Warwick is also calling for blankets and doonas for winter.
