Four youths charged over break-in
A GROUP of Stanthorpe youths charged with break and enter were bailed after an appearance in the Stanthorpe Children's Court this week.
Three 16-year-olds and one 15-year-old fronted the magistrate on Tuesday, charged with the break and enter of a home on Amosfield Rd on August 17.
They are due to face court again on November 4.
Crash accused to front court again
THE Victorian woman accused of killing a Tenterfield woman and seriously injuring her two daughters in a crash at Stanthorpe earlier this year is due to front court again next week.
Bronya Schoner, 36, will appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on Monday via video link from jail, where she has been since her arrest in February.
Defence counsel for the woman told the court last week it was possible the matter would be handed up to the District Court next week.
Boys behaving badly
A MAGISTRATE has advised a Stanthorpe man to "keep it in his pants" after the man was charged with exposing himself during a boys' night out.
The Stanthorpe Magistrates Court heard the 37-year-old challenged a drinking mate to compare package sizes, pulled his own pants down and declared himself the winner.
The drunken antics landed the man in court with a conviction for wilful exposure.
Defence counsel for the man told the court the members of the group were all behaving stupidly and only his male friends were witness to the display.
He was fined $600.
