Warwick Cowboys back as winners

TRENT Achilles contributed 22 points as the Warwick Cowboys returned to the winner’s circle with a 58-16 victory against Pittsworth at Father Ranger Oval on Saturday night.

Such was the across-the-ground supremacy of the Warwick side, 10 different players scored tries.

Despite not scoring a try, Jesse McIvor impressed for the third week running after being promoted to lock.

He was players’ player and best forward while Achilles was best back.

Before the game, McIvor said the Cowboys were expecting a tough game against Pittsworth as the pre-season clash between the two sides was a tough.

Warwick won all four grades.
