Cowboys beat the Danes

CAMERON Mulcahy and Trent Achilles were two of the stars as Warwick scored a 44-32 victory against Pittsworth in the A-grade game at Pittsworth on Saturday night.

Mulcahy captained the side and was strong up front while the kicking game of half-back Achilles was outstanding.

Centres Bob Nicholls and Zac Pauli had strong games.

Under-18 pair Brayden Hockings and Mitchell Lewis impressed off the bench in A-grade after earlier playing in the U18 game.

The Cowboys beat Pittsworth in reserve grade and C-grade games but lost the U18 match.

Josh Klein, Kevin Cooper, Anthony Thomas and Aaron Harre had strong games in the forwards for Warwick in reserve grade.

Warwick went through the four games without any injuries.

The Cowboys have this weekend off before playing Wattles in the Barrett Shield at Clifton on March 27.

Games will be played between Warwick and Wattles in A, reserve and U18 grades. Warwick C-grade coach Mark Fowler is seeking an opponent for his side.

The first Cowboys competition game is on April 10 at Clive Berghofer Stadium against Souths in all four grades.
