Cowboys win four from four at home

WARWICK Cowboys are celebrating after taking out all four grades at home games on Saturday.

Warwick Cowboys president Greg Carey said they were “ecstatic” with the result especially as A-grade has previously had a two-week dry run.

“Pittsworth is a strong club, especially as Pittsworth beat Valleys,” Carey said.

“Cowboys beating Pittsworth is a huge upset.”

Cowboys A grade winger Dylan Gallaway scored two tries and kicked 10 goals for his team and was judged best back.

While in the forwards, Aaron McVeigh had his strongest game of the season.

“He really dominated the ruck area and took out best forward for the match for Cowboys,” Carey said.

“All Cowboys players played above themselves in this match and gave the fans plenty to cheer about,” Carey said.

Under 18s: Cowboys 34 v Pittsworth 14

C grade: Cowboys 50 v Pittsworth 12
