Cozzi signals intent to leave GBWT

GRANITE Belt Wine Tourism (GBWT) director of marketing Michele Cozzi has signalled her intention to leave the organisation and return to the United Kingdom.

Mrs Cozzi told the Daily News that while she had not yet resigned, she had spoken with the board and notified them of her intention to leave with her husband.

She said there was no timeline on the move.

“I don’t know if it is going to take 10 months or 20 months ... we’ve decided that we are going to return to the UK,” she said.

“I’ve been with GBWT now for three years and have laid a lot of the groundwork. We’ve done a huge amount of work on the systems and the processes.

“People are lovely and they’ve said really nice things.”

Mrs Cozzi said when her husband and she eventually made the move; it would top off an impressive list of globetrotting.

“I’m from Fiji originally and this will be my eighth international move; my husband’s English,” she said.
