Crash at Berrinba has left a man in a critical condition

THE Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a single vehicle traffic crash at Berrinba which has left a man in a critical condition this morning.

Initial information suggests at 8.45am, a station wagon was travelling eastbound on Browns Plains Road near Bayliss Road when it crashed into a power pole and rolled down an embankment into a creek, trapping the driver.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 59-year-old man, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition with lower leg and torso injuries.

Police are urging anyone to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Investigations are continuing.
