Crews kept busy before drivers tackle weekend

Camper fire at dam

Fire crews were called to Leslie Dam at 11.34am after reports of a camper trailer on fire. It took crews two hose lines to extinguish the blaze, with the cause of the fire unknown. No one was injured.

Float in crash

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash on the corner of Percy and Wallace Sts at 12.11pm.

Two people were transported to the Warwick Base Hospital for observation, including an elderly woman.

One of the vehicles was towing a horse float but the horse was uninjured.

Cyclist fatality

A male cyclist was killed yesterday afternoon after a collision with a vehicle

A police media spokesperson said the cyclist was travelling along the Millmerran-Inglewood Rd near the Millmerran Power Station when the incident occurred.

The section of road was closed at time of printing last night and police investigations were continuing.

Collision in Killarney

At 1.56pm crews were called to a two-vehicle crash in Killarney on the corner of Willow and Ivy Sts. The incident was minor with no injuries.

Motorcycle vs tree

A 31-year-old motorcyclist was injured after he ran into a tree on the Cunningham Highway at Tregony mid-afternoon yesterday. The man was taken to Warwick Base Hospital with a suspected shoulder injury.
