LifeFlight helicopter called for man trapped in car

UPDATE 10am: An 18-year-old man has been freed from his car after being trapped for an hour and a half following a crash this morning.

A LifeFlight helicopter picked up the man from the Allora cricket grounds and transferred him to a hospital in Brisbane.

He reportedly suffered leg injuries when the car he was driving crashed into a tree on Warwick-Allora Rd this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene north of Toolburra about 8.10am.

Fire crews used hydraulic equipment to free the man from the vehicle.

He was the only occupant of the car when it crashed.

UPDATE 9.10am: A LifeFlight helicopter is on the way to a crash on Warwick-Allora Rd where an 18-year-old is encapsulated inside a car with leg injuries.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at Toolburra about 8.10am this morning and are still working to free the man.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said hydraulic equipment was being used to extract the teenager from the vehicle after it crashed into a tree.

He is reportedly the only person stuck inside the car.
