Cricket teams gear up for new season with some changes
CRICKET: Seven teams have nominated for the Condamine Cup 2018-2019 Warwick season.
The major change is the formation of a Victoria Hill club for the first time in two decades.
Victoria Hill will have many of the players from last year's Allora Rascals team, which is not playing this season.
All games this weekend will be on Sunday.
Premiers Maryvale will play Redbacks at Slade Park, Wheatvale and Warwick Hotel Colts will play at Queens Park and Allora will be at home to Sovereign Animals.
Victoria Hill has the bye.
About the clubs
Captain: Paul Bourke for second season.
Team changes: Rohan Morris, who has a bullock team at Maryvale, will play, along with Dan Conn from Townsville who is working at Raheen Stud.

Captain: Tyhe Clarkson
Team changes: Mark Mills and Shaun Brown have joined from the Redbacks Aussie rules club.

Paceman Chris Cantwell will play a few less games.
Likely player of the year: Batsman Brendan Malone is a technically correct batsman who bowls a bit.
