Cricketer has been at nets preparing for carnival
CRICKET: Stewart Henderson will be playing his second Condamine Sports Club Warwick Australia Cay Cricket Carnival starting Friday.
He will be playing for Dalrymple Dongers for a second time.
"I remember it was pretty hot last year and our team went all right,” Henderson said.
"It is a case in our carnival team that if you bat first in one innings, you bat last in the next.
"I am excited that the carnival spreads across three days this year especially as we have less cricket with a bye in club cricket.”
Nick Morris is Dalrymple Dongers captain.
Henderson bowls medium pace for Allora in Condamine Cup cricket and has best figures of 2-14 this season.
The 18-year-old loves his cricket.
"This is my sixth year of A grade with Allora,” he said.
"I have been going to the nets a fair bit with mates Joe and Tom Morris, Blake Lollback and Thomas Duggan.
"We are all in the one carnival team this year.”
BEST SCORE: 27 for Allora in club cricket
DUCKS: Probably lost count, maybe four or five.
SLOWEST INNINGS: In juniors, I once faced 27 balls and scored no runs. But I was not out.
CATCH RATIO: I like to think I catch more than I drop, I haven't dropped any this season yet.
