Cupcake munchers swell RSPCA coffers

The total number of cakes eaten by everyone (seven staff members in all) was 65.

EMPLOYEES at Australian Juice Processing, a branch of Grove Juice in Warwick, had a tasty morning tea in a good cause this week.

Debbie Cronin is busy raising funds for the RSPCA and held a cupcake eating competition to boost her total.

"I baked a number of cakes up specially for the day and everyone was given time at work to sit and eat as many as they could for a full 15 minutes," Debbie said.

"The prize for most cakes eaten in this time was a $50 Celebrations voucher.

"The total number of cakes eaten by everyone (seven staff members in all) was 65.

"AJP contributed $160 towards the RSPCA and my fundraising efforts will continue until the end of this week.

"The winner of the competition (Andrew Stubbings) consumed 14 cakes in the allotted 15 minutes."
