I’M 21 and have worked at Foodworks Warwick for five years on and off.

I did take off once during that time to go and work as a nanny in Taroom.

I felt like change, just wanted to do something different.

I came back to work here when that stint was finished and now I’m the deli manager.

I really like Christine and Ian as bosses, they’re so good to us and I love seeing all the regulars.

I think the people who shop like that it’s so quick and easy.

When I’m not here I hang out with family and don’t mind a few casual beers.

Annette Davies

I WILL have worked here for 11 years in September.

Before I started I was a stay-at-home mum.

Warwick is home, I was born here.

I’m married with three kids and two grandchildren, that I get to see most weekends.

My husband is the butcher here so it’s basically a family affair.

We’re two of Christine and Ian’s original staff, they are great to work for.

I like the staff here and the customers.

We all go out of the way to help the customers here and all the staff enjoy their jobs and I think that shows in the customer service.

When I’m not here I love camping and travelling away on weekends.

Julie Coates

I’VE been working at Foodworks Warwick for about four years.

I was at the Foodworks in Goomeri, which is 45 minutes west of Gympie for about six years.

My husband got a work transfer and we moved here in 2012.

I’m supervisor here and just love the fact it’s a small supermarket and really is locally owned.

A lot of elderly people come in here and they love the personal touch our staff are known for.

We all still have a job to do but without the big company pressures.

After work I like to walk my dog and enjoy pottery and craft.

I love Warwick, apart from the cold, but the town has a nice feel to it.

Caitlyn Whitton

THIS year is my seventh working at Foodworks, it was my first and only job.

I was casual for most of that time but went full time last year.

I’m the fruit and veg manager and really like the people I work with and enjoy the work in general.

I love the customers but don’t do to much customer service any more.

I mainly look after the ordering and make sure the fruit and veg department is always stocked full and fresh.

My sister is about to have her third baby so I hang out with her a lot.

I love R’n’B music and am currently re-watching One Tree Hill, love it.
