Daily News to highlight footy finals with features this week

FOOTY: The Daily News will keep readers up to date with how the teams shape up in this weekend's national footy finals.

Tomorrow, we will print a two-page feature on the AFL grand final between the Western Bulldogs and Sydney Swans which will be played in front of up to 100,000 on Saturday at MCG.

The Bulldogs will be seeking to win their first premiership since 1954 and only the second in the club's history.

In Saturday's edition of the Daily News, there will be a two-page feature on the NRL grand finals.

The Melbourne Storm will have a lot of Queensland support in the grand final in Sydney on Sunday when they do battle with a Cronulla team seeking their first premiership.

While three Queensland teams made the top-eight, none made it to the biggest game of the season.
