Dance the night away

PUT on your heels, grab a partner and make your way to the Swan Creek Hall for a great Saturday night out.

The Spring Time Dance is back on again, with great music, supper and raffles to pass the time.

Entertainer Mike Woollett is always a favourite with the crowds and will again keep people on their feet with a great mix of modern and old time music.

Organiser Anne Coy said the event was a family dance and people of all dancing abilities were welcome.

"I think the first time you do anything - it doesn't matter what it is - it is very daunting; it's like going into an exam when you haven't studied," she said.

"But we don't bite and everybody enjoys themselves."

About four dances a year are held at the hall and the next once is scheduled for New Year's Eve.

The Spring Time Dance will be held at the Swan Creek Hall from 7.30pm Saturday.

Entry is $10 per adult.

For more information on the event or weekly dance lessons at the hall, phone Anne on 4666 1507.
