Bush Dance to support Nepal
PUT on your dancing shoes and help support the people of Nepal at the Bush Dance for Nepal hosted by the School of Total Education.
Held at the SOTE auditorium tomorrow, the dance will raise money for the more than 1.5 million Nepalese children who have been left homeless by the earthquake that rocked Nepal in April.
Featuring live music from The Bald Rock Mountain Band all money raised will go to the Save the Children Fund.
Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for children and concessions or $25 for a family and are available at the door.
Doors open at 6.30 on Saturday, September 5 at 2 Freestone Rd, Warwick.
Bunya Festival
LEARN about Aboriginal culture and enjoy a day of activities at the Warwick Bunya Festival on Sunday.
The family day includes Aboriginal dancing, bush tours, children's activities, bunya nut food stall and a short film of the Bunya Festival story.
The festival will be held at Cicada Woman, Mailmans Rd, Maryvale from 10am - 3pm on Sunday September 6.
Tickets cost $5 for adults, $3 for concessions and children under 5 free.
