D'Ath considering inquest into Annette Mason's death
THE family of Toowoomba teenager Annette Mason, who's killer has never been brought to justice, met with the Attorney-General a short while ago about the possibility of a new inquest.
Annette's sister Linda and other family members want Yvette D'Ath to order a second inquest into the 1989 murder of the 15-year-old.
A 1991 inquest found there was insufficient evidence to reveal who killed Annette.
Ms D'Ath recently ruled out the second inquest, despite Ms Mason's family saying there was new evidence in the case.
Ms D'Ath's office this afternoon confirmed she would consider some "material" from the family.
