Sponsor helps groups in fundraiser

STANDING on new floor covering – funded from the same donation last year – Sue Hoopmann clutched a small piece of paper to her chest as she thanked her benefactor.

The BlueCare Warwick service manager and Dementia Support Group Warwick’s Pam Eather were the two recipients of Ryanie for Tyres’ fundraising efforts, and were each granted $6000.

“Last year the cheque helped us get some new floor coverings,” Mrs Hoopmann said.

“This year it will go towards replacing the BlueCare vehicles.”

The money for the Dementia Support Group Warwick will go towards setting up a permanent home for the organisation, and Mrs Eather said Sharon and Brendan Ryan, of Ryanie for Tyres, had been instrumental in their support.

“They’ve put in an awful lot of effort, time and money to bring this to fruition,” she said.

“I really thank them.”
