Dessert queen melts in Perth's heat

AN alfresco sudden death cook-off marked the end of Jenna Stirn and Joanna Jaede's time on My Kitchen Rules tonight.

The Adelaide domestic goddesses were beaten in their second sudden death cook-off by Victorian husband and wife Kerrie and Craig.

The duo was off to a great start with their marron entree, but Jaede told APN that the pressure at this "pointy end" of the competition got to her and Stirn.

Their main course featured elements which didn't go well together, and Stirn's mousse turned into a disaster on the plate.

"I think it looks like Ken and Barbie had a dinner party and this is what you would get," judge Colin Fassnidge said.

But the tears of frustration and defeat turned into tears of joy when the women learned they would get a second chance in Comeback Kitchen on Sunday.

Their entry into Comeback Kitchen comes on the heels of their one-point loss to Kerrie and Craig tonight.

My Kitchen Rules airs Sundays at 6.30pm and Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on Channel 7.
