Leslie Park transformed for kids' Dino Day antics

LESLIE Park was transformed into a mini-Jurassic Park as nearly 30 kids gathered to trade cards and talk dinosaurs yesterday afternoon.

Held as part of the Daily News dinosaur collection promotion, the Dinosaur Fun in the Park attracted a number of families.

Amongst the dino-lovers was 10-year-old Tegan Mathews, who said she now had the full collection of cards.

"It's fun to collect them," she said. "You can look at them and see how old they are and how long they lived for."

The Daily News Dinosaur Collector card series ends on Saturday, June 21.
