Disorderly behaviour on major road leads to a $400 fine

A WOMAN who allegedly swore outside the Leyburn Police Station has been hit with a fine of $400.

She was one of the visitors in town for the 24th annual Historic Leyburn Sprints.

Senior Constable Matt Swan, of Leyburn police, said a 25-year-old woman from Pittsworth had been issued with an infringement notice for causing public nuisance at 8.30pm Saturday.

"She behaved in a disorderly manner on the Toowoomba/Karara Rd outside the police station in Leyburn," he said.

"Overall, crowd behaviour was good at the sprints weekend."
