Dollars in doll and genetics exports

THE recent export group meeting brought together people from diverse industry sectors; from doll making to cattle genetics and everything in between.

The common elements, however, were the desire for more information about potential markets and the opportunity to network with like-minded businesses.

Based on feedback from this session the group would like to hear more about specific markets, programs to support them and the opportunity to develop new skills.

The Economic Development Unit will be addressing these issues in the New Year, kicking off with a market briefing session in February.

The specific program is still being finalised but we will be including a session on the Export Market Development Grant Scheme, support services offered by Austrade and Trade Queensland and additional market briefings.

If you would like to be part of this group, please register your details with the EDU by phoning 4681 5527 or email edu@sdrc.qld.gov.au.
