Dream match in Warwick netball for Vanessa Bryson
NETBALL CHAT WITH RENAE O’DEA - Warwick Netball
A STAND-OUT performance by Vanessa Bryson was one of the high points of Warwick Netball Association play this week.
Vanessa has been a young player who has always mixed it well with players in an adult team.
She has beautiful movement and can shoot well.
Vanessa never gives up and gives 100% every game. She is an asset to her team.
Top all-rounder
AN all-rounder is handy in a game of netball.
Having the ability to put a player into any position makes it easier when in comes to all players getting game time.
Sam Bennett is a strong all-rounder who can change the style of game depending on what position she is in.
She is very light on her feet, which allows for speedy movement and smooth play throughout the game. Her ability on the court works well with all players.
Play strengthening
TUESDAY night netball is getting stronger each week.
The more we get into the season it is clearer to see players are starting to find their feet and feel a lot more comfortable on the court.
It is a great opportunity to learn new skills and have a night to yourself away from work/family.
A bit of girl time for netball is all you need sometimes.
In ANZ Championship netball this week, The Coffee Club Queensland Firebirds play the NSW Swifts at 5pm Saturday at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Tickets for the game are available from Ticketek.
Both sides are undefeated while the Firebirds have enjoyed 17 straight wins in championship games.
